Keep sign-in links and password resets passing SPF
Keep using the email providers behind your sign-in links, password resets and product updates. If SPF fails for those messages, users can be locked out while your app shows them as sent. Emailmetry maintains their SPF addresses as they change.
Set up your domain
Add your domain to Emailmetry, choose your sending services and add the DNS record we provide. Emailmetry updates SPF automatically when those providers change their sending servers.
Product and company senders
| System | Messages | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Transactional email | Sign-in links and password resets | Use the sending domains configured in production. |
| Customer messaging | Onboarding and product updates | Include any subdomains used for campaigns. |
| Company email and CRM | Sales, support and conversations | Check whether the CRM uses a connected mailbox or its own sending service. |
SPF checks the return-path domain, which can differ from the From address. Check DKIM and DMARC too when changing providers.
Annual licences add capacity to a shared pool of managed base domains, including eligible subdomains. Domains above that pool are monthly extras. Licences and billing.
